Framed for cross-arm and insulator hardware on request.
Request priceWe pressure-treat wood poles for electric utilities, telecom networks and civil contractors — and sell treated poles straight from the pad. Retention, penetration and certificate, to the specification on your drawing.
Customer-supplied and stock poles run through the same six-stage plant discipline, on a booked charge with a written completion date. Nothing is treated on a stock default.
Core sample · treated sapwood against untreated heart
Full-cell and empty-cell cycles in CCA, ACZA, creosote and boron. Retention and penetration set to the specification you name, not a stock default.
Visual, sounding and boring surveys on standing or delivered poles. Decay mapping with pass, reject and re-class recommendations.
Rejected or returned poles recovered by re-drying, re-injection and external sleeve reinforcement where the core section is sound.
Boring, chamfering, kerfing, cross-arm mounting and branding. Poles arrive on site ready to set, not cut on the shoulder.
Bark removal and controlled drying to 18–25% moisture before the cylinder, so the charge takes preservative evenly, end to end.
Core samples taken per charge and analysed for retention, with a treatment certificate and a branded code carrying the date and charge number.
Distribution, transmission, telecom, fencing and piling stock — treated, framed and branded before it is loaded. Mixed loads and export packing arranged on request.

Every pole is measured, branded and graded against the class it has to carry. Rejects are segregated before they enter the plant.
Bark and sap removed, then kiln dried to a target 18–25% moisture so the charge accepts preservative uniformly.
Hard-to-treat species are incised and the charge is stacked with spacers so solution can move through the whole cylinder load.
Initial vacuum, flooding, then pressure held at up to 1,050 kPa until the specified retention is met and verified on the charge chart.
Controlled fixation binds the preservative into the wood cells. Final moisture is checked before a pole leaves the pad.
Core samples assayed for retention, certificate issued, treatment code and date branded, then loaded by pole trailer or flatbed.
Retention and penetration are checked on core samples taken from the charge, with the assay record kept against the batch for five years.
Distribution and transmission pole programmes, re-class and replacement batches.
Access, backhaul and rural fibre routes with pre-drilled poles to drawing.
Foundation piling, shoring and site poles cut to length for the schedule.
Boundary, stock and vineyard posts and strainers in bundle lots.
Jetty, mooring and dolphin piling in creosote to UC5A retention.
Street lighting, signage and park structures with certificate traceability.
Client references
“We moved our re-class programme over to LAB Plantation three seasons ago. Charges come back branded, assayed and on the truck when they said they would.”
“The framing is done in the plant, so our line crews are not cutting and boring on the shoulder. That alone took days off each batch.”
“Certificate traceability is what our tenders ask for. Every pole on site maps back to a charge number and a retention result.”
